The Brighton Beach Junior Football Club is seeking applications for an U18 Girls Coach for season 2019.
Overview of Role:
The U18 Program Coach’s primary responsibility is in coaching and mentoring our U18 Girls Team attending one training session and one game per week in the SMJFL. The successful candidate will work with the Director of Football Tony Landrigan and the Director of Coaching BD Sports’ Nathan Harris in the development and implementation of the Brighton Beach JFC coaching program, in line with the program’s philosophy of developing great footballers and outstanding people.
The U18 Coach will conduct all processes in a professional manner during their time in the role.
The Brighton Beach Junior Football Club aims to holistically develop young footballers to the maximum of their ability, with community involvement and enjoyment as key pillars in our philosophy.
Our U18 Girls program has been hugely successful winning the 2017 and 2018 Division 1 premierships and hosting many Sandringham Dragons players as well as a recent AFLW draftee. We look to continue this strong culture into a new era.
Players are to be coached in such a way that develops: • Skills, physical attributes and football knowledge • Psychological, emotional and physical wellbeing • Confidence and belief in their abilities; and • Personal character and leadership capacity
- SEASON April 28th-Aug 18th then finals
- REMUNERATION Available and negotiable
- QUALIFICATIONS Level 1 AFL Coaches Course / WWCC
